UKAS ACCREDITATION
We are very proud to announce our GRC Synergies business has become the first GRC testing facility to be accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
After months of hard work by our team especially Laboratory Manager Jamie Hardacre and QA Manager Amy Briscoe and a rigorous assessment by UKAS the laboratory is now accredited to carry out testing to Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete Association (GRCA) Methods of Testing 2 and 3. These are the two primary tests required on cured GRC to ensure compliance to the associations current specification.
ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard for the general requirements for the competence of testing and measurement laboratories irrespective of what is being tested, aerospace components, food, forensics, energy and covers impartiality, structural, resource and process requirements along with robust management system capabilities.
For GRC manufacturers wanting to demonstrate to their clients complete confidence in their test results we can now provide ISO/IEC 17025:2017 compliant testing on a single test or annual contract basis.
Accreditation to the BS EN 1170 series of test standards along with our own Laboratory Developed Methods where no current test standards exist will follow in early to mid 2019.
