NHBC visit GRCUK
GRC is gaining popularity with house builders and developers who see the material as a lightweight and robust alternative to both natural and cast stone
dressings and cladding.
With the increased use of GRC and in order to obtain more information about the material the National House Building Council (NHBC) recently visited our factory which is one of only two GRCA AMS facilities in the UK. Attending the meeting were Bob Faulding from GRCUK, Graham Perrior (Head of NHBC Standards & Technical), George Fordyce (Head of Engineering Policy at NHBC) and Dave White (Senior Technical Officer at NHBC). Matthew Hanley (Chairman GRCA) and Ian Morrison (Technical Advisor GRCA) also attended.
As a result of the discussions, NHBC will insert an article on the use of GRC in their next Standards Extra (technical newsletter) to be published in May 2010.
